Hi Jeanne, You are wonderful! The information you found is more than I had before. I did find that he was a Confederate Veteran, but I only found his name and rank listed. Where did you find that he was buried in Toomey Cemetery? It makes sense, because his land was near there. I did find the record for his land. The info that I have on Mary Renna is that she was born in 1847 in Calcasieu Parish and died around 1900. I'm not sure if this is correct. Do you have a list of their children's names? I have the ones that I remember, but I'm not at all sure that I have them all. It's so good of you to help. Thanks. Earline
