Hi Earline. In a reference on the Conf. Card in our card file in the library, (LCAP 6-22-1921) this is a list of Conf. Burials. There were only two listed for Toomey Cemetery, John L. Cormier and Alexander Cormier. For a list of the children I have as follows: Lydia (Liddie) born about 1870; She married ?? Lyons and died 26 Jan 1950 in Overton, TX, buried LA... John W. born about 1872; married Leona Guidry, death ?? Azema(Zima) born about 1874, married ?? Sonnier, died 14 Feb 1960, buried in Toomey Cemetery Caroline, born about 1876, married Albert Lyons, died?? Albert, born Mar 1880, married Nora ?? died 3 Jan 1941, buried in Scott, LA Nettie, born April 1885, married Marion Lyons, died May 14, 1939, buried Farquhar Cemetery in Sulphur, LA These came from census records, 1870, 1880, and 1900 Calcasieu Parish. Now, I have more news. I found a succession for John L. Courmier...filed 4-22-1921 in Calcasieu Parish Ct. Hse Succ. # 2837. The succession says he died in 1910, and list his heirs (children). All the above children were listed. They were the only ones listed.....so now my question is....Are you sure your Pete Courmier was their son? He wasn't listed....I wonder why. Let me know what you think!!?? I love solving puzzles, so I am happy to help you. It also fills in more of my Farque lines. Later...Jeanne Notify Administrator about this message?
