WOW!!! sorry I have been several days getting back to you. The library sent us to Baton Rouge for a 3 day LA Bicentennial conference which I had to attend. Yuk! Ok, I will go back over my information, take your information and see if I am wrong here. I would think I am in error before you since this is your direct line! Give me a few days and I will see if I can figure this out. Thanks for your information, it will help me in my research trying to figure this out. Do you have anything else that might give me clues?

I may have already told you, I found a obituary for Pete Cormier, February 28, 1944, Lake Charles American Press, He was "66 years old, lived in Vinton most of his life, was engaged in farming and oil field work. Wife, Bertie, survives, three sons, Clarence, Earl and Everett, six brothers, Joe, Ogese, Jake, Arthur, Adam and Teamon, and two sisters, Mrs. George Berry, and Mrs Myrtle Calloux." This sounds like your Pete Courmier. It does not say where he was buried. I can send you a copy if you want. Send me your mailing address. I

I will do some more digging and see what I find, if anything. I am probably in error, in which case I certainly want to correct my error!! E-mail me at Later..........Jeanne
