Regarding Farriors of Alabama, my mother, Mamie Charlsie Farrior, was born in 1914, Birmingham, daughter of Thomas Jefferson Farrior and Mamie Duell James. She was the second of five children--Thomas Woodrow, James Lovett, Martha Lorinda, and Robert Lee Farrior. Thomas Jefferson Farrior was born in the area you are interested in. I have a typed family history which covers the immigration of the Farriors (Farriers) from Duplin County, N.C., to Alabama.

I can give you information on the children of Thomas Jefferson Farrior and their descendants. I've recently visited with three of the five cousins living in the San Diego area (Robert Lee Farrior, Jr., Michael Lee Farrior, Patrick Lee Farrior). They also have a sister, Sharon Lee Farrior Giles (hard G sound on that), who also lives in San Diego. Another brother, Daniel Lee Farrior, lives in the Prineville, Oregon, area, I believe.

My mother is 87 and in good health and state of mind and can give some information regarding her father's family around Montgomery, Alabama. I'd love to hear from you Farriors out there.
