Try this site: http://familytreemaker.genealogy.com/users/c/o/o/J-M-Cooper/GENE3-0001.html

It is the geneological tree of James Farrior, who was the first Farrior who settled in Duplin Co. NC. All (or close to it) of the Farriors in FL, AL, TN, and TX are probably descendants of James.

BRYAN3 FARRIOR (JOHN2, JAMES1) was born in near Hallsville, Duplin County, North Carolina. He married SARAH COX.

I believe William (fourth generation), son of Bryan, may be the William who was plantation owner in AL.

Children of BRYAN FARRIOR and SARAH COX are:
13. i. WILLIAM4 FARRIOR, b. Duplin County, North Carolina.
ii. DAVID FARRIOR.
iii. HUGH FARRIOR, b. Duplin County, North Carolina.

William also had a son named William.
13. WILLIAM4 FARRIOR (BRYAN3, JOHN2, JAMES1) was born in Duplin County, North Carolina. He married SARAH ANN (OR MUNREE) MONROE.

Children of WILLIAM FARRIOR and SARAH MONROE are:
49. i. WILLIAM5 FARRIOR, b. Clayton, Barbour County, Alabama; d. Chipley, Washington Co., Florida.
ii. JEFFERSON DAVIS FARRIOR, b. Clayton, Barbour County, Alabama.
51. iii. JOHN BRYAN FARRIOR, b. Clayton, Barbour County, Alabama.
iv. SARAH FARRIOR.
v. ED FARRIOR, b. Clayton, Barbour County, Alabama; d. Clayton, Alabama.
52. vi. FRANKLIN FARRIOR, b. Clayton, Barbour County, Alabama.
53. vii. JAMES M. FARRIOR, b. Clayton, Barbour County, Alabama.
54. viii. JOSEPH R. FARRIOR, b. April 1854, Clayton, Barbour County, Alabama; d. August 1941, Chipley, Washington Co., Florida.

Ironically, my maiden name is Farrior. My Father's family is from Onslow County - one county over from Duplin Co. NC. But I can find no record that I am descendant from John. Even though my verbal family history indicates our ancestors were three brothers John, William, and (Henry, Robert, or Nicholas - I am at a loss as to the third brother's name.
