Linda:Hi cousin, thanks for the tip regarding Glomorozon. My wife and I will be there the first two weeks in October. If we find anything we will for sure share with the Ian Esom "family".It may be that some of Ian Esom's sons returned to Wales and came back to America later, we are not sure.
My line extends from Henry to James Esom, to Issac, John Thomas, John Bird to Samuel Kelly(my grandfather) to Garvin B (my father)
My grandfather moved from Horse Cave Ky to Etowah, TN around the turn of the century. He was an engineer on the L&N railroad and was killed in a train wreck in 1912 in northern Georgia. My father was a Colonel in the U.S. Army serving in both World War I and II.I served as the Federal Highway Administrator in President Reagan's administration. Transportation business seems to run in the family!
I have some information concerning the Farris Defeat which took the lives of Issac and Nathan Farris in an Indian raid in Kentucky if you have an interest.
Thanks again for sharing.
Bob Farris
