Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum
message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
I just took a chance as I have Farvers from that same general area. I looked for your family Robert John Evans in the 1930 census. Found him in Shelby Twp., Richland Co. OH, as a 24 year old male living with wife Ida B., 17. However, also living with them is a sister in law, Myrtle M. Farber, 15, and widowed father in law Henry J. Farber, 60. You should be able to go back through the census and perhaps find them in 1920, and get the siblings of Ida B., and probably also the wife of Henry J. According to the census, they were all born OH, as well as Henry's parents. As my Farvers are all from the next county, Crawford, it is likely that we may be distant cousins, but I have not traced the families of siblings. I do not have a Henry J. Farver (Farber) in my data, but my Farvers were originally Fabers from Germany.
