I am trying to locate the parents of my grandmother Lillian Hellena Faubert who according to the family was born around 1873. place unknown. I have not been able to trace this line as of yet.

It is believed that Lillian did not know who her parents were and that she may have been brought up by her grandparents?

Lillian was married in St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Lindsay, Ontario, Victoria County. Lillian was married on July 13,1892 to James Hutton.

Lillian listed in the space for her parents Jean Evangiliste Faubert and Angelique McCallon(McCallum).

I have exaimed the Catholic Church Records for Lindsay and found no record of a birth for Lillian or a marriage record for her parents therefore she must have been born in Quebec. I have found her marriage record and the birth records of her children

However since Jean Faubert and Angelique McCallon were married in 1837 and Lillian was married in 1892 a difference of 55 years it would appear more then likely that the names she listed were her grandparents and not her parents.

Therefore one of the sons of Jean Evangeliste Faubert and Mary Angelique McCallon(McCallum) must be her father?

Who were the sons and where were they born and married.

Any information or help will be appreciated.

Thank You
