The Frank Fobair story (gg marrying an Indian has a similar history to mine).
My father's name is John Luis Fobair;
grandfather is Roy Gilbert Fobair;
Great-grandfater is John Luis Fobair;
and don't have the info on g-g-g.

Story with ggg or possibly gggg, was he married an Indian in Quebec and was referred to as red-drawers because he used to swim in his red, long johns. The spelling of our surname was changed in North America, I believe 3 generations ago, from Faubert.

My father has a lot more history, but is on vacation, so I'll post more when I have the opportunity.

Denise (Fobair) Cashmore
