I am searching for any FAUERBACH's in Chicago. Specifically, I am looking for info on my third great-grand mother, her maiden name was Sophie Fauerbach. She was b.Sept 1874 in New York City.

She came to Chicago before 1893, as she was married to an Edward Kugelman on June 25 1893, when she was 19 years old.

I have been unable to locate any of her family or her parents. I cannot find out if they had moved to Chicago with her or not. She d. May 05 1959 in Chicago, Ill.

I have discovered that her husband was a Palatine Jew, who came to Danube, NY before settling in Chicago. I have reason to believe that since they are both buried in a Jewish cemetery that her family was also German-Jewish immigrants.

If you come across anything that can help me please contact me.
