Just wondering-did you know there is a George Washington Faughn buried near our grandmother in the Westside District Cemetary in Taft? It has to be her brother, who was named after their dad. The dates on the headstone are 2-28-19 to 8-25-75. There is a Lee Fitzhugh Faughn buried there also.
A next of kin in the Erickson & Brown book lists Lee Faughn, a Maggie Case of Campbell, MO. and one Ona June Smith(Faughn). And additional info:Supervison, Camray Drilling Co. SS# 572-10-8800.
I knew an Ona who literally lived in Momo's (Cecil Jane Faughn-Stanfill) backyard in Taft. Same person?
Did any of our grandmothers family follow her to Taft? I know dad had 'cousins' around that area.
