Searching for information about the FAULBAUM family that I believe originated in Abbenrode, Germany. My direct ancestor, Christian FAULBAUM was born there 19 October 1814, and was a Veterinarian with the second squadron of the seventh Regiment, Prussian Army. He married Sophie Juliane Auguste WASER of Halberstadt, Germany. Some of their children were born in Abbenrode and some in Halberstadt.
Children of CHRISTIAN FAULBAUM and SOPHIE WASER are:
i. UNREADABLE2 FAULBAUM, b. 1837.
ii. AUGUST FAULBAUM, b. 08 November 1838, Halberstadt Germany; d. 20 September 1907, Belleville, St. Clair Co., Il..
iii. ADOLPH FAULBAUM, b. 1840.
iv. GUSTAV JULIUS FAULBAUM2, b. 22 December 1841.
v. CHRISTINA AUGUSTE BERTHA FAULBAUM, b. 05 October 18434.
vi. EMILIE MARIE FAULBAUM, b. 21 November 1845.
vii. ALEXANDER ALBERT CARL FAULBAUM, b. 22 July 1848.
viii. FRIEDERICH HEINRICH BERNHARD FAULBAUM, b. 21 April 1850.
ix. IDA CLARA FAULBAUM, b. 12 January 1852.
My great-grandfather, August FAULBAUM was born in Halberstadt 08 November 1838. He studied in Halberstadt and Magdeburg and was also a Veterinarian. He went to the US on the ship "Indiana" Bremen-New York on Sept. 23, 1857.
I'm looking for information about the siblings of August, and where the family went after they moved from Halberstadt around 1864.
