Bernard,
Thanks for your response. I hadn't seen any mention of Faulconers in Orange County on GenForum or the Orange County VAGenWeb site, so I was wondering if there was anyone researching them.
The Faulconers I'm looking for were living in the Madison Magisterial District, C.H., at the time of the 1880 census. The record lists O.N. Faulconer, 28, who worked for the railroad, his wife M.E., 23, their daughters Minnie and M.B., and a boarder Etta Lancaster, 25, for whom no occupation was given. I'm trying to find out if there was a family connection between Etta and O.N. or M.E. If you know O.N. Faulconer's parents and siblings or M.E. Faulconer's maiden name, please let me know. I can look in the 1900 census for first names if you need that information to answer. Or I'll look for the book by James G. Faulconer.
Thanks again.
