Your William is a Faurot - some branches did spell the name with an E. If you're interested I can give you Faurot info back to the 1600s
The Faurot Book written by Frank Reed has much info re: Wm. His father's name was William and his mother's maiden name was
Elizabeth (Bean) Pingery.
