I had three Faurot uncles who were all in WWII. Owen Faurot flew out of England on Navy patrol bombers. He was killed and had a DFC and Air Medal. Billy C. Faurot, was a TBF mechanic and gunner in the Navy in the south Pacific. He retired as an Army major and flew two tours in Vietnam as a helicopter pilot. James Lyle Faurot was a crew member on PBY Catalinas in the Navy flying in the Pacific theater. All three were sons of John Calvin Faurot, my grandfather. Cheers, Don
