If your mother's father was John Calvin &
he lived in Pioneer Twp. Cedar Co., Iowa,
your branch is what they call the "Senior"
branch descending from Dr. Henry Faurot who
settled in Piscataway, NJ (b. 1670-80 d.
abt 1710)probably coming from England but of
French Huguenot extraction. We would be
cousins in a matter of speaking. Your line
descends from Henry's son David and mine from
his son Henry, Jr.! Everything you say
connects, except your George W., is listed as
George Ephraim (which may or may not be correct!)I can see how easily an"E" could look like a "W" or vice versa, when everything was hand written. My great grandfather (who remained in NJ) was a
"George W." I wrote to Frank "Monty" Reed about the book and he called me and I could tell he was getting quite a kick out of telling me about the family. The book is $50 & he ordered it from the publisher and had it sent to me. I sent some for postage also. Here's the address & phone #. If you write be sure to include the phone # as he hates to have to track you down!! Mr. Frank Reed, 1944 East Valley Road, Santa Barbara, Ca. 93108-1428
phone # 805-969-4409. I was certainly impressed with all the information and can't
imagine the amount of time & expense that it
has taken to put this together. Regards, Diane
