My husband is related to Faurots (Faurote's) in Iowa, but we don't know if they were in Indiana first, or if the family was devided at some time. His grandparents lived in Mechanicsville, Iowa from at least the late 1800s until about 1920, but we have no history of them, not even their given names. Their five sons' names were : George Arthur, Foster, Lloyd, Harlan and Howard..
