I have been doing research on my paternal side for over 6 yrs. now, and have just started to gain more information about my maternal side. My great grandfather was Glen Crawford Fauscett. My grandmother has always told us that he was part Cherokee Indian. Have you ever heard this, and if so, where did it come from? I have photos of him and his stature and facial features resemble this. His first wife was Laura Butterworth, with whom he had three sons: Grover L., John Robert, and Lloyd William. His second wife was Reba Alma Pennington, with whom he had six children: Glenn J., Gene, Christine Dovie (my grandmother), Morene, Reba Evelyn, and Shirley. I also have a record from "GA Deaths-1919-1998" showing Inf. of G.C. Fauscett d. 02 Aug 1923 Hall Co. (Cert #23633-E). I am not sure which marriage that was from.

Glen Crawford Fauscett had a twin brother James Benjamin (J.B.) Fauscett. He married Gustee ? and they had six children: Irene, Beulah, Paul (d.1993), Royal, James B., and Kate. They were all listed as "inmates" at the Georgia Baptist Orphan's Home in Hapeville, Georgia in the 1930 Census. I remember only James B. (J.B.) and Royal Fauscett from Fauscett family reunions at Coal Mtn. Bapt. Ch., above Cumming, Georgia, when I was a child.
