Update for offspring of George Fausey Fauzey from Lycoming. Some information may be a repost but I just wanted it out there so everyone searching won't waste their time going over the same path's. Steve Merritt, Cincinnati, Ohio
*NEW
All I know about George & Charlotte is they later moved from Williamsport to Clearfield Co. They had 3 children Annie James Leroy & Arthur. note: I believe that George was married before Charlotte and had a daughter Ida.

Steve - I don't necessarily agree with your generational line of thinking - so I dug a little more.

I gave you estate of Herman in 1809, executors David and Adam. Searching an actual will
would be needed to determine if David and Adam are really Herman's sons, but it is at least a
strong possibility. I tried to at least determine a little with census.

1790 - Northampton County, PA, Moore Twp. -
There is a Harbert listed spelled FACE (no other surname close to Fausey in the area) his
numbers are 3 males over 16 (himself, Herman Jr. and one other, maybe Christian?,
Zacharias?, maybe Henry?) 2 males under 16 (probably David and Adam) and 4 females (so
there are maybe 3 sisters involved). The second listing is for John spelled FACE also with
himself over 16, 1 male under 16 and 2 females. My guess is that this might be your
Revolutionary War (as you call him) John and probably John his son.

1800 Census same area - No more John - he may be your Revolutionary John and he's
headed west already. Herman, Sr. listed spelled Fausey with 2 males 15-25 and 1 female
over 45. This is probably the man of the estate record, 2 males may be David and Adam.
Daughters are already probably married and gone. Herman, Jr. is listed separately, he
between 26 and 44 and a female between 15 and 25.

1810 I can find only a David spelled Fapsy - he's probably the last in Northampton County.

Also, throughout all of this there is a Philip family in Nazareth Twp. (close to Moore Twp.)
Spellings are FACE, FASS, and FOSS. May or may not be a connection.

So in conclusion, Herman Sr. is born probably circa 1750, maybe earlier, probably on at least
a Rev. Militia list himself and either a brother of Rev. John or perhaps if he is old enough,
even his father. I will post this to then search online Rev. records for PA. If I find anything I will
repost.
