AMOS S FAVILLE (1823-1900) AND ESTHER D CRARY FAVILLE (1831-1902)

I am trying to find out where Amos S Faville and his wife, Esther D Crary Faville are buried. They are on the books of both Elmwood Cemetery in Norfolk, Virginia and Oak Grove Cemetery in Mitchell, Iowa. The Death Notice for Amos says that “the body will be brought to Mitchell for final interment sometime in the future.” Perhaps because the ground was frozen in late December in Iowa or the train journey might be too difficult for his family at that time of the year. Who knows? Elmwood Cemetery has no record of their removal, so they must still be there. And Oak Grove Cemetery also says they are there. Does anyone know the real story? Thanks for any help you could provide.
