John Faver, 1748 Virginia. Hello, distant cousin. This is my husband's (Richard Favor) family that we never knew until just a week ago, when I started trying to trace his ancestors.
There is no doubt. He is a desendant of John Faver's oldest son, William J. Faver. William's oldest son was Hartwell Favor, born Aug.9, 1807. Hartwell's son was John Nelson Favor, born 1834. Hartwell's son was James Monroe Favor, born Sept.10, 1866. James Monroe had 3 sons, Lloyd, Harl, and Lester Favor. Lester was my husband's father.
Would you believe it? Our oldest son is named John Favor.
We would love to hear all the info that you have, since we are just getting started.
For some unknown reason, we had only known the name of James Monroe Favor, no further. All of a sudden, we have a family tree with branches everywhere. It is exciting.
We look forward to hearing from you.
Janice and Richard Favor
