Lynn,

I have found several references to a Theophilus Faver in Amherst County, VA:

12/25/1761 Theophilus Faver witnessed the will of William Suddarth, along with Larnes Suddarth, Martha Suddarth and George Taylor.

9/26/1764 Theophilus Faver patented 170 acres on the branches of Dutch Creek on the south side of Rocky Mountain.

10/1766 A transfer note from Theophilus Faver to Abraham Warwick was presented in Court.

I suspect that this Theophilus Faver is the son of Theophilus Faver Sr. who died in 1760, but he appears to be living in Amherst County, not Richmond or Essex. Of course, it is possible that he sold his land in Amherst County and moved back to Essex/Richmond. Do you know anything about this?

Thanks,
Nancy Kiser
