Information regarding slaves
Posted by: Frederick Date: September 18, 1998 at 00:20:43

I have spent many arduous hours at the Georgia Archives and History building looking through census reports, wills, sell transctions, etc., tring to find information on some slaves of the Favors family clan. I know that John Faver was married twice and his second wife Mary Arnold had three sons, Thomas, Henry and Sander Walker. These names strike me particularly because i am looking for my grandfather's father whose name was Thomas and who had a brother name Walker. As for as I know, my grandfather was born in 1887-give are take a couple of years. Therefore, I am assuming that his father,Tom, was born between the late 1850's and the 1860's. If anyone could enlighten me in the least with any type of lead, I would appreciate it. Thanks
