William Fawn, b. abt. 1755; VA > NC

I am looking for the family of Capt. William Fawn who married his cousin, Elizabeth Harrison in Lunenberg, VA in 1790. Elizabeth, who was the widow of George Stainback, was living in Prince George Co., VA as was William and Elizabeth's uncle, Benjamin Harrison of Martin Brandons Parish in Prince George Co., VA. Benj. Harrison names both Elizabeth and William in his will and stipulates that part of their inheritance be given only if they marry. They did marry and moved to NC.

There is a James Fawn and family listed in Albemarle Parish register (Surry/Sussex Co., VA) and he even has a son named William but his birth date doesn't match my William. I feel that these Fawns are related but I need lots of missing pieces.

Please, any information about Fawns from VA or NC would be appreciated!

Cheryl
