I am contacting you because you seem to have a vast knowledge on the Fawn Surname. My path is very dim and I was wondering if you could help light my way, here goes:

I've viewed you family tree maker file and have a similar name(s). I am researching the Cullins, Clark, Hungate, Freeman lines and I have the following data...Do we connect?

Harriette D. Cullins (d/o John Cullins and Mary Hungate) married B.S. Fawn. I would like more info on this B.S. Fawn, as it may help me with my brick wall on the Cullins, Clark, Freeman, Hungate lines.

One Hungate researcher gave me the following:

from Terry Smith:
Harriett Cullins, born Nov. 16, 1845 in Hamilton Co., Ill. Married B.S. Faughn. Lived at Macedonia, Ill.
their issue:
Julia Faughn
Catherine Faughn
Nancy Faughn

I have located the following census record:
Note: There is a record of FAWN, Benton L., age 15, male, born in IL living in the house of John Cullins and Mary Hungate in the 1860 census of Hamilton County, IL, no indication of parents or other Fawn surnames in household. Note: their daughter Harriet married a B.S. Fawn...see if Benton L. Fawn connects to the B.S. Fawn line.

See if any of these names ring a bell. Thanking you in advance for you help.
