My grandfather was called Carmelo Fazio, and was born in Tunisia. His father was Giovanni. One of this brothers emigrated to the US and died in California where I still have a cousin: Giovanni Fazio. As for us, someone made a mistake in the spelling and we ended up "FaZzio" ... one z too many! My grand father was married to my grand mother Elisa Carollo, dautgher of Anna Di Lorenzo and (I cannot recall his first name) Carollo. All originated from Agrigento in Sicily, all were born in Tunisia (except Anna di Lorenzo). I live in Germany today. We have family spread all over the world (1st cousins and uncles)
