My Fathers name was Frank Peter Fazio.He was born
Oct.6th,I believe in 1917.He was born in Palermo,
Sicily. The Following is the only information that
I know: His Mother's name was Giatanina, he had two
brother's who were fisherman and had a sister who
died young in her early thirties.
Before sneaking into the US without a passport,
he fought under Mussalini during WWII.He was injured
during the war and also became a POW.
When he arrived here after the war was over
he was a bit shell shocked.He settled in Brooklyn,
NY.He met my mother Catherine D'Angelo And they got
married.
My father had or still has a brother who lives
in SanFrancisco.I don't remember his name but I do
remember his wife's name since my mother use to write
to her quite often before she died in 1967.His wife's
name was Jay.Since then we have lost contact with them.
I sure would like to find him if he is still alive.
