Your ancestry sounds about right. Daniel was a Captain in Revolutionary War. He was indeed married to Violet(ta) Combs. I'd have to get out my extended file if you're interested in more. I do know that at least some of the "Figgins" originated with at least one of his sons who, for some reason, changed his name.
