Hi Howard

Thank you for responding to my message. I do have the Marriage certificate for William Feakins & Ann Burrows. They are my Great Great Grandparents.

I have just recently found the entry on the 1851 Census and have been able to identify the other children born in Sussex. You are right that my information had been largely based on Cristenings from the IGI which I have double checked with the Parish records. Thier son James John Feakins was my Great Grandfather.

Thank you for the Christening dates for Amelia & Henry I hadn't got round to looking them up as yet. You mention also George & Mary Feakins, George is the Brother of my William.

I have recently purchased the following certificates:

Ann Feakins who died 23rd September 1880 age 62 at 1 Garden Row, Deptford. M A Letyer was present at the death.

William Feakins who died 27th March 1891 at 7 Heston Street Deptford age 73 yrs. Emma Collins was present at the death.

I haven't as yet established who the witnesses were, but I am sure they are both my Great,Great Grandparents.

I have not been able to find William on the 1881 Census until today when I found him as William Teakins living at Garden Row. That probably confirmed for me that the death certificate is my William, I was beginning to wonder if he died before 1881.

I have a great deal of information that I have collected Re: Feakins over the years and would be happy to share it with you.

Regards Sue
