I am the brother of the Austin Fearnley you refer to.
I too am researching my family tree and have the following information re your ancestor Mary Jane (1862).
MARY JANE was born in 1862 to James and Elizabeth.
In 1871 (3907/28/11) Mary Jane (9) was living at 46, Lythgoes Lane, with her parents James (31), a Wire Drawer and wife, Elizabeth (31), a Fustian Cutter and sister Sarah Ann (7).
In 1881 (3792/10/14) Mary Jane (19), a Fustian Cutter, was boarding with her uncle James Ratcliffe at 40, John Street; her name was incorrectly given as Mary Ellen.
She married JOSHUA MOORE in 1883 in Warrington.
I have been unable to find any records for the 1891 and 1901 censuses.
I would be pleased if you are able to confirm or correct this entry and provide me with any more relevant info. on your branch.
I have much more information on the Fearnleys (61 pages of A4)which I would be willing to share with you, including over 3 pages on John (1816)and descendants.
