Hello, Lee. No, Squire isn't a nickname but was popular amongst various unconnected Fearnley families in Bradford.
From my own Fearnley data, I'm pretty sure your Squire was born 1890 at Tong, a son of Reuben Fearnley (b 1855) and Mary Jane Simpson (b 1856). This couple married at St.Peters in 1875. I have quite a lot of info on Reuben's family if it is of interest to you.

Yvonne Fearnley (Mrs.)
