FEARNLEYs in Bradford, Sunderland and Manchester

The oldest Fearnley I have in my tree is Randolph (Randall) FEARNLEY, who married Mary Ann BENTLEY at St Peter's Bradford in 1822.

He had three sons and one daughter:

Edward, b. 1823
Alfred, b. 1825
Eli Bentley, b. 1826
Elizabeth Ann, b. 1827

Edward moved to Darlington and had several children there with his wife Emily:

Randolph, b. 1849, who moved back to Bradford
Elizabeth, b. c. 1857
And another son whom I believe lived in Monkwearmouth (Sunderland), and had a least one child, Emma

Alfred moved to the Newton area of Manchester, where he had five children with Sarah JEWETT:

Mary Ellen, b. 1856
Arthur W, b. 1861
Alfred B, b. 1865
Randolph J, b. 1868
Eli Oscar, b. 1864

The only one of these that had produced offspring by 1901 was Randolph (m. Bertha G STEELE), who had a son Cecil, b. c. 1899.

Eli Bentley is my g-g-grandfather, and remained in Bradford. All of his children died without issue, except his son Charles Randolph who in turn had two sons, Randolph and Thomas. Randolph remained a bachelor, but my grandfather Thomas had four children. The lack of male offspring in the two generations following Thomas has meant that the FEARNLEY name has died out in my immediate branch of the family.

I would be interested if anyone knows of any FEARNLEY connections in the Sunderland and Manchester areas, or who can perhaps provide any clue about where the original Randolph came from. My guess is probably Birstall/Gomersal, but I haven't found the connection yet.
