I don't know if this helps but I have just discovered that the maiden name of one of my relatives was Fearnley. Her name was Mary Fearnley born in Ovenden, Halifax, Yorks, UK in 1817 and married a John Rushworth. They moved to Thornton, Bradford where they lived - had many children.
Any help?
