Thanks Eric,

Your comments tie in with my thoughts but not proofs ?

I have found 2 families in Northowram,(1820-1850) one being a direct ancestor in my Wife's tree; but only a few in the Northowram area before or after 1820-50
However I too have found lots of fearnside people in Keighley. I suspect our family were the "exception to the rule" and left their home area - keighley.

Unfortunately I cannot find a connection!!

Perhaps you might be able to help on geography?
Rebecca Fearnside b. Northowram ca. 1818 quotes her birthplace as Northowram in the 1841-1881 census but in the 1891 she quotes "Crosspoint" as her birthplace.
I have not been able to locate such a place in the West Riding !!!!?
