Laneville is a few miles out of Henderson, in Rusk County
Texas.
My Gr. Gr. Grandfather was Thomas E. "Buck Fears, born 10 Sept 1843 in Henry County Ala, Married 1865 to Ann Mary
Pellam and Died in Rusk County, Texas on 13 Jan 1915.
Ann Mary Pellum was born on 11 Oct. 1843 and died on 20 May 1884. Their daughter Amanda Lee Fears, was born on
07April 1868. I think I was about 12 years old when I attended her funeral, around the summer of 1958. She was Married to James Henry Lockride of Rusk County.
I'm just starting the Fears line so I don't have much information. I think Thomas E's father was James Fears, born 1803 Warren County Ga, and mothers names was Elizabeth. Thomas E's grandfather was Absolom Fears and grandmothee Nancy Ann.
I have Thomas E. Fears civil war records, he fought with
Co E 25th Georgia Infantry. Family tradition says that he
was wounded twice, and carried a musket ball in his leg for
the rest of his life. Hope thats a little help.

Dan
