there are too many Edmunds. . the one that supposedly died in 1844 in IlL a rev soldier I believe has the incorrect date of death. . I believe him to be the Edmund Fears/Fair that was with George Rodgers Clark at the Falls of the Ohio. that man died 09/04/1780 he was denied a pension for not 6 months service His date of service was 04/04/1780-09/04/1780 this is in the Personnell of Fort Jefferson. I will send cites to any that would like them. . in rejected or suspended pensions for rev war Edmond, fear carmi, white not 6 mos service this was under the heading "A list of persons residing in Illinois who have appled for pensions unter the act of June 7, 1832, whose claims have been rejected; perpared in conformity with the resolutionof the Senate of the United States, September 16,1850

If this can be unraveled. . HELP ME

There are just too many Edmunds from the family of James and Kesiah Fears in Prince Edward County Va.. .

Iknow the one is mine and I can't figure out where all the others as coming from. .

It could have been that his heirs, wife, etc filed for the pension and because he died before the 6 month they didn't get it but I am feeling that He was not the one who filed for it
