My research of the 1767 Edmund Fears reference is as follows:

Jan 1767 Thomas Haskins vs. Edmund Fears -- attachment. In agreement for _______ and costs agreeable to Spiers and Company and Neil Buchanan, Jr. and Company, judgement against the said Fears and consideration of the balance due from Peter Legrand to the said Fears at the settlement of two crops wheat the said Peter is ordered to report. (Prince Edward Court Order Book 3 page 132)

Jan 1767 James French vs. Edmund Fears -- Judgement for 31 pounds, 5 shillings and condemnation of the same in the hands of Peter LeGrand after the Haskins judgement is paid. (Prince Edward County Court Order Book 3 page 132)

Do I need to go back and redetermine whether James French is your Nathan Branch?
