Hello Robin-
Fears is somewhat a new family line of my husbands which I work on from time to time. I believe this is the same family I'm researching as my husband's person is from Jackson Co., AL; Scottsboro. Is noted as attending church with Jacob and Ailsey Fears in Scottsboro, AL. According to the research I have, Ailcy 'Ailsey' Holt was the wife of Jacob Fears, and named her first child, a daughter, Elizabeth, who married Barnett Riddle who named her first child, a daughter, Ailsey 'Allie' Frances Riddle. Ailsey is my husband's g-grandmother, b-1835 in AL, d-c1900 in TN/AL. We do not know where she is buried which has been a project of family researchers.
