I suspect the William Fery on the Lincolnshire Census who claimed to have been born in Con. Hunts is actually William Fairy born 1848 in either Woodwalton or Upwood Hunts.
His grandparents were in Connington and his father was born there. But was he confused? Did his grandparents care for him at some stage? Is CON. short for Conington?
I have a 1000 questions!!
If you get any clues I'd be very grateful!
