Hi Elsie.

Thanks for your response. All I can tell you is what I know at this point about my grandfather, John Edward Feasler. He was born September 27, 1883 in Erie and from what I have been told, he left home around the age of 15 (which would have been around 1898) and joined the Army.

He eventually married Marion T. Farnen (my grandmother) of Wilmington, DE whom he met while stationed at Fort Delaware near Delaware City, DE. They moved to Philadelphia, PA, then to Camden, NJ, and eventually Collingswood, NJ. According to my aunt, his family was "always in Erie, PA" although we still have no information as to whom his parents or siblings were.

Any information you could provide would be most welcome.
