Kathy,
I don't have a record in my database for him but I can tell you the Philip Karl Feasler had several sons and one of them might be your John's father. Sons were:

Karl (Charles) 1839-1899, Death notice reads:
Feasler - In West Millcreek, Sunday morning, May 21, 1899, Charles Feasler, aged 61 years. Funeral Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock from residence of F. M. Feasler, a brother of the deceased.

George 1840-1879

John 1844-1914

Henry 1851-1937, Death notice reads:
FEASLER - Thursday, Feb. 4, 1937. Henry T. Feasler, beloved father of Amos H. Feasler, of 319 East 12th street, in his 85th year.
Friends are invited to call at the Edward C. Hanley and Sons Funeral Home, West 9th at Liberty street, any time Saturday and to attend services Sunday afternoon at 2:30 with Rev. C. M. Reed, officiating. Interment Erie cemetery.

Fredrich 1853-1879

Samuel 1858-1878

Edward 1861-19xx

Frank 1865-1944. Obituary clipping reads:
Frank M. Feasler, seventy-nine, lifelong resident od Erie, died at 10:30 a.m. Monday in St. Vincent's hospital following an illness of several months. His health had been failing for the past year but his condition became serious Sunday and he was removed to the hospital in the evening.
Mr. Feasler was a farm gardener and operated a greenhouse for many years. He was a member of Zem Zem Temple and was active in the Masonic Order until recent years. He was a life member of the Blue Lodge.
Surviving are his wife, Katherine Brown Feasler; two daughters, Mrs. James N. Allburn, Erie, and Mrs. L. L. Phillips, St. Petersburg, Fla.; Four grandchildren, Richard Meyer, Frank Allburn, Helen Ruth Allburn and James Allburn, Jr., and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements, in charge of Chester A. Schaal funeral home, 550 W. 9th st., are to be announced.

Since the name John & Edward are included in the list there's probably a good chance that your John fits in. Do you have an obit or death certificate?
