R. E. Fecteau Captain, ADG WWII

My father was a pilot of a B-17 in WWII stationed in England. He went missing in action in Februrary 1945 after a bombing run to Germany.

He later made it back to England with the help of the Parisian Underground. He had with him a pass for the Paris area signed by R. E. Fecteau, Captain, AGD, Asst Adj General.

My Dad was in the 8th Air Force and Fecteau seemed to be in the 9th Air Force or was with the US Strategic Air Forces in Europe.

I am trying to find the Fecteau family to see where my Dad received this pass. Any one know this R. E. Fecteau? Thanks, Jeanne
