Sorry for the delay, I have not been on in a while. My email address has changed as well.

I know very little of my FEEHANs. I had thought the name to be FEIN until I saw the name written in the census documents.

The family was in Morris County in the mid 1800s. They were in the Pequannock/Boonton Twsp. area. farmers with my COONEYs listed as nephews, farm hands.

I knew FEIN only because my grandfather, James COONEY's death cert. lists his mother as a FEIN.
