Mary Feemster was John Feemster's mother and they did arrive together on the Oglethorpe ship you mentioned in 1736. They arrived at Savannah, GA. John died in Chester County South Carolina in 1761. Not too many details are known of his life. He owned several parcels of land in Chester county (known then as Craven County). At his death he left some of the land to his mother, Mary, and the rest to his wife, Elizabeth and his children. His son William received his pocket watch, by the way. His mom died in 1776 as you said and was buried in Bullock Creek, Chester County, again as you said.
