Hello Sally,
How far back do your line goes? You are the first for me to hear about the Mississippi 's Feemsters. Did any of your Feemsters moved to Noxubee County, MS? My grandfather was a Feemster. He lived in Macon, MS. I don't know if he was born or moved there. I am trying to find the owners of slaves that adopted the Feemster name.
If you have any information, please email me.
Thank you
JHyde
