I found a Saml(probably Samuel) K. Feemster on the 1860 census Of Pontotoc County, MS on page 565.
He was 21, farmer, a wife named Amelia A.(27 years old) I think this was his wife. She was quite older than Saml and a daughter named Alice who was 9 years old. I am doing ok with my research. With the help from Tee Key and others, I am doing better. Thanks Tee
I might find something on my Feemsters in Pontotoc County, MS, becauses there is a 1860 Slave Schedule for the Feemster family.
People back then moved around so much, it is hard to find where they originally come from.
