Ron, As far as I know I haven't had an e-mail problem for some time. According to the 1900 Mass Census, Katherine Feeney, wife of Edward J. Cahill, was born in Ireland in May 1874.This would have made her 17 when my Father was born in 1891. However, this same census reports that Katherine had been married for 13 years in 1900, which would mean that she was 13 years old when she married Edward. Something seems to be amiss. I believe that Katherine died around 1935-36. Neither the Mass Archives or a search firm could find a record of her death. The search firm checked statewide death indexs for Cahill's and Feeney
's between 1911 and 1955 and found zilch. According to the 1907 Boston Directory, Catherine Cahill widow of Edward J was living at 112 Howard Ave Dorchester or Roxbury. I need to get access to later (ie 1936/37) Boston Directories that would report her death. I should be receiving a copy of Edward's death certificate from the Mass Archives shortly and that might provide some help. Thanks again for your interest. Regards Bill
