Ron: I read you note and was pleased to hear you're building a data base for "The Feeneys of Galway" - I have a good bit of infomation re the various Feeneys of Spiddal Co,. Galway
There seems to be 4 distinct trees there - the one I am most familiar with is the Sean Fatch O'Fain-nah (soundex) family of Park (2 miles east of Spiddal village) and my new friend Joe Majors is building another Feeney tree from Green Hill (1/2 mile west of the village) I'm sure the both of us will contribute what we can to aid in your effort
Please keep intouch
Slan,
Cousin Ned
PS - I am 100% sure that Feeneys/Connollys from Park/Shaun-na-gar-raun (two sections of Spiddal) went to Aus in the 1890's does that ring any of your bells ???
