i would like to introduce myself as miss patricia feeney or feeny my greatgreatgrandafarther came from roscommon but i don't think that he was born there my greatgreatgrandfarther paid the griffiths tax evalution of 1847 his name was john feeny and i think that he had a brother by the name of bernard feeny but i don't know if my greatgreagrandafarther went to america but i know his daughter did bit i don't know her name but i know that she married her first cousin by the name of patrick feeney and that they lived in youngstown pensalvannie. her mothers name was mary l grant feeny but i don't know her farther name. these people could be related. The diocese of elphin is on my dads birth certificate. and elphin was not far from where my feeneys lived. The townland was lisnanean and the parish was kilcooley or tuskl. but my feenys might have stayed in ireland.
