i would like to introduce my self as miss patricia feeney or feeny i have gone back to mygreatgreatgrandfarther by the name of john feeny he paid the griffiths tax evaluation in 1847 he lived in the area which is called lisnanaen tuskl naer stokestown roscommon on my dads birht certificate it does say elphin. i cant find his death certificate or his wifes i also have which i think could be his brother bernard feeny i have found out that bernard had lived and died in strokestown work house and he was also a servant. i know for a fact that my greatgrandfarther must have been born in about 1847 to 1851 because he got married in 1871 to a sarah conry so i know he was of age but i don't konw if my greatgreatgrandafarther actually emergrated to the amaerica or wherther he stayed in ireland but it would be a great help if this was him would there be any way that you might be able to fine his farthers name on the wedding certificate. also on the elphin diocses where did you find the information and can you find any more feenys this would help alot. also i have my greatgrandfarthers sister who emergrted to america but i don't know her name only that she had marreid a grant and she also came form schuykillcity ,pensalvanie.

thank you for your help patricia. even if its just a wedding certificate this would help. also do you think that it would be possible that my greatgreatgrandfarther would have left my greatgrandfarther on his own. to go to america.
